King, Carole King, Dr. John, Jimmy Reed and more, the album features five of Aretha Franklin's own compositions, becoming the most she had ever recorded for a single album.
The reissue of Spirit in the Dark is exclusive to VMP. It's pressed on Blue Galaxy vinyl.
